Challenge
Flemingsbergsdalen is one of Sweden's most ambitious urban development projects, aimed at transforming a fragmented area into a vibrant, cohesive district by 2050. Although the vision is clear and the goals are long-term, there was a lack of a coherent strategy for how Huddinge municipality would communicate about the development. There was a need to clarify both the overarching narrative and what is happening here and now – to create understanding, engagement, and direction during the long development journey.
Solution
Together with Huddinge municipality, we developed a communication strategy based on the municipality's own channels, brand platform, and visual profile. Through workshops, target group analysis, and creative guidelines, we built a flexible and grounded communication strategy – a tool that helps the municipality communicate both vision and everyday life clearly and consistently. The strategy includes message formulation, content ideas, channel choices, and proposals for place activations related to prioritized projects and areas.
Results
Huddinge municipality now has long-term and concrete support in its communication about the development of Flemingsbergsdalen. With clear messages, a unified tone, and tailored efforts for different target groups, the municipality can continuously report on what is happening – and why. The strategy strengthens the identity of the place, builds understanding, and fosters engagement for the ongoing work. In short: Flemingsbergsdalen has received a municipal voice that carries all the way to 2050.

"For our mission, the balance between challenging yet adapting to our conditions and graphic frameworks was crucial. We are very pleased with how Property Passion navigated that during the assignment and the result in the delivery."
